About Jennifer Moore – Creator of Learnzing

Jennifer Moore is an experienced private tutor with more than 25 years of experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and learning backgrounds.

After qualifying as a Further Education lecturer in ICT and maths, Jennifer expanded her teaching to include core subjects, developing a particular specialism in re-engaging students who have become disconnected from education. This includes supporting young people returning to learning after periods of home education, school absence or exclusion.

Jennifer currently tutors students from Key Stage 2 through to post-16, providing personalised support designed to build confidence, restore motivation and help learners progress at their own pace.

As a Professional Member of the British Computer Society (BCS), Jennifer has a strong interest in the role of technology in education. She continues to develop her knowledge through ongoing professional development, with a particular focus on the growing impact of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.

Through her work with students, Jennifer has seen first-hand how AI can be a valuable tool for educators when used thoughtfully. Rather than replacing teachers, artificial intelligence has the potential to support lesson planning, provide new ways of explaining complex ideas and help students explore learning in creative ways.

Learnzing was created to explore how artificial intelligence can support education for teachers, students and parents. The goal is to highlight the many possibilities AI offers while also encouraging responsible and ethical use. This includes understanding important issues such as plagiarism, over-reliance on automated content and the risk of losing the human connection that is essential to meaningful learning.
